Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in California
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Strong knowledge of learning and behavioral assessment techniques, including cognitive, achievement, and social-emotional evaluations
  • Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Deliver consultation services to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and interventions
  • Develop and support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
  • Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with staff for optimal outcomes
