Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist certification and state license
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
  • Strong understanding of child development and educational assessments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and other specialists
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Compassionate, solution-oriented approach to helping students and supporting their educational growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students
  • Interpret assessment data and communicate results clearly to staff and families
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and related service providers to support student success
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expertise on eligibility and appropriate accommodations
  • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as appropriate
  • Maintain timely documentation according to district and state requirements
