Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid and current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a K–12 school setting preferred
- Expertise in psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and behavior intervention plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for individualized educational planning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insight
- Develop and implement effective strategies to assist students with academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Provide crisis intervention and consult with school staff and families
- Support a positive school climate by facilitating programs that promote wellbeing and resilience
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
