Work onsite during the 2026–2027 school year, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff to deliver psychological services and conduct special education evaluations. The specific building location will be determined prior to the start of the assignment, and adjustments to the role may be made as needed to best support student needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology.
  • Approved by the Michigan Department of Education to practice as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience performing special education evaluations and interpreting results for a wide range of educational levels.
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with educators, families, and related service staff.
  • Detail-oriented with a thorough understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory timelines.
  • Adaptable and flexible to meet evolving needs within the district.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive special education evaluations for students from early childhood through high school.
  • Deliver psychological services and interventions to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional success.
  • Consult and collaborate with staff, families, and district administrators to develop and implement appropriate support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all evaluations and services are aligned with special education laws and district policies.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
