Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• IVP fingerprint card required prior to start date
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Experience working with diverse student populations across various age groups
• Ability to collaborate with staff, families, and administrators
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students, maintaining compliance with state and district guidelines
• Consult with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop effective strategies and interventions
• Support special education processes, including eligibility meetings, creating and reviewing IEPs, and progress monitoring
• Deliver individual and group counseling, as needed, to support students’ social-emotional development
• Promote a positive, inclusive school climate through prevention and crisis intervention efforts
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with regulations and best practices
• Adapt to a dynamic caseload, gathering details and updating plans as needed throughout the year
