The district values flexibility, offering a hybrid schedule option: while all student-centered services are delivered in person, additional duties may be completed remotely, depending on the length of the contract. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and students, making a genuine impact throughout the academic year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Maryland School Psychologist certification (new graduates and out-of-state candidates encouraged!)
  • Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessment, consultation, and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to culturally sensitive, student-focused practices
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic, diverse school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies to students as needed
  • Deliver consultation and professional development to support a positive school climate
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district guidelines
