Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist. This full-time position begins August 25 and runs through June 18, offering the chance to make a significant impact during the academic year. You’ll work 37.5 hours weekly, managing a caseload of 50–60 students. Part-time applicants will also be considered, presenting excellent flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and report writing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insight on eligibility and student needs
- Deliver individual and small group counseling to support students’ academic and emotional development
- Consult with educators and parents to implement effective behavioral and academic interventions
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and legal requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes students’ growth and well-being
