Desired Background and Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong assessment skills, including proficiency administering and interpreting IQ tests
  • Familiarity with developing and participating in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) processes
  • Ability to supervise and mentor students in training to become School Psychologists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a psychology candidate, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback as they progress through their practicum or internship
  • Administer and score a range of cognitive and psychological assessments
  • Analyze and interpret assessment data, clearly communicating findings through written reports
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educational staff, families, and other relevant team members
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth by delivering expert consultation and recommendations
