Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Georgia state licensure or eligibility
  • Previous experience working within school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessments
  • Ability to create and implement effective student intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
  • Interpret and communicate results to IEP teams, families, and staff
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and administrators
  • Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention, as needed, and participate in response teams
  • Offer recommendations for classroom accommodations and instructional practices to support student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and follow all legal/ethical guidelines
