Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing intervention plans
- Confidence interpreting assessment data and presenting findings to staff and parents
- Strong familiarity with IEP processes, RTI implementation, and special education regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a deep commitment to student advocacy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs regarding learning, behavior, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate educational plans
- Participate in IEP meetings; offer recommendations and support for interventions
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling services, and direct support to students as needed
- Assist teachers in implementing behavioral management and academic interventions within the classroom setting
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
