Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active licensure as a School Psychologist in Alabama or ability to obtain
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Previous experience working in schools or with children/adolescents preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Ability to conduct assessments, write comprehensive reports, and participate in IEP meetings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective interventions
• Provide counseling/interventions to support students’ mental health and emotional regulation
• Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Consult with staff on classroom techniques and strategies to support diverse learners
