Bring your expertise in supporting student success to this exciting full-time contract opportunity for School Psychologists near Madison, AL. We’re seeking six dedicated professionals to serve as the primary psychologist for individual elementary schools. Working Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive school environment and delivering essential services to students and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support across the full breadth of school psychologist duties, focusing on students in special education (Sped) and skill-based groups
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including those regarding eligibility and progress of students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student development and well-being
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and meticulous documentation across all services

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or working toward necessary credentials for practice
  • Previous experience providing services to elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads effectively
  • Exceptional communication abilities to work collaboratively within an educational setting
  • Passion for supporting students and advocating for their educational and emotional needs
