School Psychologist - Madison, Alabama

In this assignment, you’ll deliver districtwide school psychology and psychometrist support, impacting diverse student populations through high-quality evaluations and student-centered consultation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid or eligible Alabama certification as a School Psychologist or Psychometrist.
• Proficiency in conducting, scoring, and interpreting a full range of psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
• Demonstrated understanding of state and federal special education compliance requirements.
• Experience in eligibility determination, report writing, and participation in eligibility/IEP meetings.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially when collaborating with families and school personnel.
• Strong knowledge of Alabama eligibility standards is a plus.
• Previous experience working across multiple school sites, and background in consultation, MTSS, or behavioral support, is highly valued.
