Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid and current School Psychologist credential
  • Experience working within educational settings, preferably K-12
  • Solid understanding of special education processes, assessments, and interventions
  • Proficient communication and consultation skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to interpret data, develop reports, and make recommendations for student support services
  • Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and participate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
  • Consult with faculty and families to address learning, emotional, and behavioral difficulties
  • Promote safe and healthy learning environments for all students
  • Maintain detailed student records and adhere to confidentiality standards
  • Participate in professional learning and staff meetings as required
