Qualifications and Background:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education processes
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and organizational skills
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention support for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to address students’ needs
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Section 504 processes
  • Deliver crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
