School Psychologist - Manassas, VA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s or doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a school psychologist
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI, IEP development, and special education law
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with counseling, behavioral interventions, and consultation in K-12 school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Interpret and communicate assessment results with clarity to students, staff, and families
• Serve as a consultant to teachers and administrators, providing intervention strategies and action plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide short-term, solution-focused counseling and crisis intervention as needed
