Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI, IEP development, and special education law
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with counseling, behavioral interventions, and consultation in K-12 school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Interpret and communicate assessment results with clarity to students, staff, and families
- Serve as a consultant to teachers and administrators, providing intervention strategies and action plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide short-term, solution-focused counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Support a positive learning environment and advocate for students’ mental and behavioral health
