Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with adolescents in a high school environment
- Skilled in assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and multi-tiered systems of support
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable working in a consultative capacity and leading intervention strategies
- Experience with crisis intervention and behavioral management is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for placement and planning
- Provide counseling services to students individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop behavior management and intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the development of IEPs
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive school climate through advocacy and educational programming
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
