Licensed Elementary School Psychologist - Manitou Springs, Colorado

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and active School Psychologist certification and licensure required
• Demonstrated experience supporting elementary, middle, and high school students
• Comprehensive understanding of psychological assessments, behavior intervention, and counseling strategies
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and special education regulations
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and direct support to students
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to create safe, supportive learning environments
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with all district and state requirements
• Support positive behavior interventions and mental health initiatives throughout the school community
