Make a meaningful impact in educational settings while working as a contracted School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This opportunity is designed for a dedicated professional who enjoys providing both on-site and some virtual support to students. You’ll primarily serve a 9th-grade center, with the possibility of assisting at the elementary or middle school level as needed. Your expertise will help facilitate important assessments, counseling, and intervention plans, contributing to positive outcomes for students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid license/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with counseling, FBA/BIP processes, and providing behavioral and academic supports
  • Skilled in working with students identified as AU, ED, OHI, SLD, and those with Dyslexia
  • Proficient in conducting cognitive and achievement testing for SLD and Dyslexia evaluations
  • Ability to collaborate with educational teams and communicate effectively with staff and families
  • Comfortable working both in-person (four days/week) and virtually (one day/week)

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cognitive and achievement assessments for SLD and Dyslexia evaluations
  • Implement and document counseling sessions for students
  • Lead and participate in Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Provide support for students with Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents on student needs and support strategies
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and eligibility determination processes
  • Offer consultative services to support academic and behavioral success across school environments
