Exciting contract opportunity available for skilled School Psychologists with a passion for supporting students' well-being and success! This full-time position offers a dynamic mix of in-person engagement and the flexibility of a virtual workday each week. You'll primarily work in a 9th grade center, but may also serve students at the elementary or middle school level as needed.
As a valued mental health professional, you'll have a direct impact on students with a range of needs, including those requiring counseling, FBA/BIP support, and services for Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairment (OHI), Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), and Dyslexia. Expertise in cognitive and achievement evaluations for SLD and Dyslexia assessments will be essential, as you'll be conducting comprehensive evaluations and helping to develop actionable intervention plans.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Current School Psychologist certification
- Demonstrated experience providing counseling and behavioral interventions within school settings
- Strong knowledge of FBA/BIPs, IDEA classifications, and best practices for AU, ED, OHI, SLD, and Dyslexia
- Proficiency conducting cognitive and achievement testing for special education evaluations
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to split time between virtual and on-site work, with a preference for being on campus 4 days per week
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct counseling services to students
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and intervention plans
- Supporting implementation of FBA/BIPs and special education eligibility determinations
- Offering expert consultation to educators and parents
