Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligible for certification.
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical experience considered.
- Knowledge of MTSS/RTI, special education eligibility, and assessment tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement interventions, collaborate in Multi-Disciplinary Teams, and provide counseling services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to determine students’ needs and strengths.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents on student support plans.
- Evaluate eligibility for special education services and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Deliver individual and group counseling to promote social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
- Contribute expertise to team meetings, crisis interventions, and preventative programming.
- Interpret and communicate assessment findings in consultative meetings.
- Offer recommendations and support for both academic and behavioral interventions.
