Step into an impactful opportunity working directly with high school students in an educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll collaborate onsite with school staff, students, and families, supporting a caseload of approximately 30 high schoolers. The position begins August 10, 2026, and concludes May 14, 2027, with a consistent schedule from 7:30AM to 3:00PM.

In this contract-based role, you’ll conduct assessments, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and help develop individualized plans that foster student growth. Your efforts will help create a supportive and positive academic environment where every student can thrive.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid and active Illinois School Psychologist license (required)
• Prior experience working with high school-aged students strongly preferred
• Ability to perform comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Comfortable working onsite throughout the assignment
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop and monitor IEPs and behavioral intervention plans
• Consult with faculty and staff on strategies to support student well-being and academic progress
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team planning
