Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
  • Ability to consult effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive educational practices
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Can work onsite; virtual/remote options are not available at this time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer cognitive, academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver interventions
  • Offer short-term counseling to students and consult with staff and parents
  • Consult on behavior management and strategies for diverse learners
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and relevant state/federal laws

Position Details:

  • 0.8 FTE for the entire 2026-2027 school year
  • All work is performed onsite within schools in the area
