In this contract role, you'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to address the diverse needs of students, help foster a positive learning environment, and contribute your expertise to support academic, behavioral, and emotional success.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license (or eligibility) for the state
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, assessments, and eligibility determination
- Strong background in creating and implementing IEPs and behavioral intervention plans
- Knowledge of current best practices for Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and PBIS frameworks
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments, observations, and evaluations to inform instructional and behavioral planning
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to develop, review, and revise IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and parents
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention services as needed
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation as required by district and regulatory guidelines
- Support school-wide initiatives to cultivate an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere
