Qualifications and Experience:

• Active School Psychologist certification (state-specific requirements apply)
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and behavioral interventions
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Provide direct counseling and support to students with academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
• Assist in the creation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in response-to-intervention (RTI) processes and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
• Act as a vital resource for crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines
