Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification required
  • Prior experience in a K-12 educational environment preferred
  • Familiarity with itinerant service models and flexibility traveling between sites
  • Understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
  • Strong skills in conducting comprehensive evaluations and writing reports
  • Comfortable facilitating and participating in IEP meetings
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Implementing MTSS to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
  • Conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to inform eligibility and intervention
  • Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to design student-centered plans
  • Attending and contributing to IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations
  • Traveling between school sites, serving a varied and diverse student population
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all district, state, and federal guidelines

In this role, you can expect compensation ranging from $50 to $55 per hour.
