Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification required
- Prior experience in a K-12 educational environment preferred
- Familiarity with itinerant service models and flexibility traveling between sites
- Understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Strong skills in conducting comprehensive evaluations and writing reports
- Comfortable facilitating and participating in IEP meetings
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Implementing MTSS to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
- Conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to inform eligibility and intervention
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to design student-centered plans
- Attending and contributing to IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations
- Traveling between school sites, serving a varied and diverse student population
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all district, state, and federal guidelines
In this role, you can expect compensation ranging from $50 to $55 per hour.
