Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state-issued credential/certification for School Psychologists or eligibility to obtain
- Experience conducting assessments, interpreting results, and delivering interventions within school environments
- Strong communication skills for effective consultation with teachers, administrators, and families
- Commitment to upholding student confidentiality and ethical practices
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Develop, recommend, and help implement intervention strategies to promote academic and emotional success
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to create safe, positive learning environments
- Maintain documentation, reports, and timely communication according to school policies
