Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state-issued credential/certification for School Psychologists or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience conducting assessments, interpreting results, and delivering interventions within school environments
  • Strong communication skills for effective consultation with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Commitment to upholding student confidentiality and ethical practices
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
  • Develop, recommend, and help implement intervention strategies to promote academic and emotional success
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to create safe, positive learning environments
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and timely communication according to school policies
