Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings
• Strong knowledge of special education processes, including evaluations, re-evaluations, and intervention strategies
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to provide consultation and guidance regarding pre-referral interventions and discipline processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and 3-year re-evaluations to determine students’ special education needs
• Offer consultation on pre-referral interventions to promote student success in the classroom
• Participate in manifestation determination hearings related to disciplinary actions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and administrators, to develop effective strategies and recommendations for student support
• Maintain thorough documentation to comply with legal and district standards
