Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong understanding of K-12 developmental, behavioral, and learning needs
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations
- Confident communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with pre-referral interventions and consultation practices
- Experience with manifestation determination hearings (disciplinary reviews) considered a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of approximately 63 students across two schools
- Complete initial psychological evaluations and required three-year re-evaluations
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Consult on pre-referral interventions to support student learning and behavior
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
- Provide expertise during manifestation determination hearings
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
