Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Previous experience in K-12 schools highly preferred
- Strong skills in student assessment, intervention, and counseling
- Proven ability to conduct and interpret psychoeducational evaluations
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Up-to-date understanding of current best practices and legal guidelines in special education
Responsibilities:
- Administer, score, and interpret a range of assessments to identify students’ learning needs
- Provide individual and group counseling for students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop appropriate strategies and interventions
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Participate in eligibility meetings, annual reviews, and school-based team discussions
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation as required
- Maintain accurate, timely records while adhering to state and federal regulations
