Requirements and Desired Experience:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Previous experience in K-12 schools highly preferred
  • Strong skills in student assessment, intervention, and counseling
  • Proven ability to conduct and interpret psychoeducational evaluations
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Up-to-date understanding of current best practices and legal guidelines in special education

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret a range of assessments to identify students’ learning needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling for students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop appropriate strategies and interventions
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, annual reviews, and school-based team discussions
  • Offer crisis intervention and consultation as required
  • Maintain accurate, timely records while adhering to state and federal regulations
