Step into a vital role supporting student success as a School Psychologist providing onsite services across multiple campuses in the Plano area. You’ll play an essential part in helping students thrive by conducting psychoeducational evaluations, participating in team meetings, and collaborating with educators and families.
As a trusted resource, you’ll serve as the case manager for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs) and maintain accurate and timely documentation. Your ability to balance multiple assignments and deadlines will be valued as you travel between 3–4 campuses, participating in Student Support Team (SST) and Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, and working closely with special education staff, administrators, and teachers.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas School Psychologist license
- Recent school-based experience and proficiency with Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Reliable transportation for daily travel between campuses
- Commitment to onsite work; remote options not available
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments as required by the district and state
- Serve as case manager for assigned evaluations
- Obtain informed consent, manage timelines, and ensure compliance with procedural standards
- Attend and contribute to SST and ARD meetings
- Support and consult with staff, students, and families to facilitate positive outcomes
Additional Details:
- Full-time, contract assignment with hours split between approximately 3–4 campuses
- Assignment runs through May 22, 2027
