Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Texas School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to travel between campuses as part of an itinerant team
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform 3-4 psychoeducational evaluations weekly for elementary students
- Use standardized assessment tools to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals on multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare timely, comprehensive evaluation reports to support educational planning
- Maintain thorough, confidential records in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in eligibility and individualized education plan (IEP) meetings as needed
