Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid, active School Psychologist certification (state-issued)
- Demonstrated experience working in a school setting, preferably with a diverse student population
- Strong knowledge of current assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans in collaboration with educational teams
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and behavioral development
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to problem-solving and program planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with local and federal requirements
