Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid and current certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 school settings is highly valued
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), functional behavior assessments, and behavior intervention plans
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to professional growth and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students referred to special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design interventions supporting academic and social-emotional success
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral supports at the individual and school-wide level
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise and guidance
- Deliver individual and group counseling as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidentiality-compliant student records
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and response
