Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Maryland School Psychology License
- Experience or training as a school psychologist in educational settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to expertly navigate confidential and sensitive situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychoeducational assessments, delivering clear and actionable insights
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans tailored for individual and group student needs
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams, supporting special education eligibility and individualized education program (IEP) planning
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as required
- Serve as a trusted resource for educators and parents, offering strategies for student success and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with department protocols
