Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Maryland School Psychology License
• Experience or training as a school psychologist in educational settings
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and families
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to expertly navigate confidential and sensitive situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychoeducational assessments, delivering clear and actionable insights
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans tailored for individual and group student needs
• Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams, supporting special education eligibility and individualized education program (IEP) planning
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as required
• Serve as a trusted resource for educators and parents, offering strategies for student success and emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with department protocols
