This full-time, onsite, contract position offers an opportunity to play a vital role in evaluations, assessments, and collaborating with dedicated educators. You’ll work with students in a traditional school setting, occasionally handling out-of-district (OOD) evaluations and overflow, all while contributing to a positive learning atmosphere.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current PA school psychologist certification/licensure
- Proven experience working in schools, with strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Prior work in urban educational environments strongly preferred
- Comfortable with district expectations and local community
- Ability to complete all required PA clearances before start
- Consistent on-site attendance (Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–4PM; 35 hours/week)
- Reliability in transportation for daily commute
- Ability to work the full schedule, as accommodations are not available for hours
- Available to start as soon as possible and remain through June 10, 2027
- Confidence using teleconferencing tools for interview (Zoom)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological and educational evaluations for middle school students
- Provide occasional support with OOD evaluations and manage assessment overflow
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized plans
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to district and legal best practices
- Support students’ mental health, social-emotional needs, and academic growth
