Qualifications/Experience Sought:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential/license in Michigan
  • Strong knowledge of MARSE and IDEA regulations
  • Proficiency in psychoeducational evaluations, test administration, and data interpretation
  • Background in developing IEPs, accommodations, and behavioral plans
  • Prior experience with crisis intervention, threat and suicide assessments valued
  • Team-focused collaborator with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determinations (MARSE, IDEA, Section 504)
  • Administer intelligence, achievement, and behavioral tests
  • Explain results to families and faculty in a clear, supportive manner
  • Assist with IEP development and classroom-based support plans
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary
  • Participate in School Support Teams to address students’ diverse needs
  • Contribute to program planning, evaluation, and ongoing professional learning
