Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments to identify students' educational and emotional needs, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists to create strategies that foster student success. You will play a key role in crisis interventions, provide direct counseling services, and support the design of positive behavioral interventions.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure appropriate for schools in Tennessee
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience with student assessments, IEP development, and consultation in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience as a school psychologist is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments
- Assist in developing and implementing IEPs
- Provide direct counseling and behavioral support for students
- Consult with educators and parents regarding effective strategies
- Contribute to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Participate in crisis response and intervention as needed
