Your skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration will be pivotal in supporting the academic, emotional, and developmental needs of elementary-aged children. Use your expertise to directly influence positive learning outcomes as an integral member of the student support team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current California School Psychologist License is mandatory
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing abilities
  • Effective communication and consultation skills for working with staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to upholding ethical practices and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret related data
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in the creation of appropriate academic or behavioral goals
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to students and staff
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines

This contract role offers competitive pay, ranging from $55 to $65 an hour, recognizing the valuable contributions you bring to student well-being and success.
