Qualifications and Experience:
- Current California School Psychologist License is mandatory
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing abilities
- Effective communication and consultation skills for working with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to upholding ethical practices and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret related data
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in the creation of appropriate academic or behavioral goals
- Offer crisis intervention and support to students and staff
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
