Step into an impactful role providing psychological services within a dynamic school environment for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract position, conveniently located near Meriden, CT, offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of elementary and secondary students. The assignment runs from August 25th, 2025, through June 11th, 2026, with consistent daytime hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active CT 070 School Psychologist License required
  • Experience working with elementary and/or secondary student populations
  • Strong skills in evaluations, re-evaluations, counseling, and report writing
  • Background supporting PPT (Planning and Placement Team) processes preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direct, compassionate support to students

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and reevaluations
  • Deliver student counseling sessions focused on academic, emotional, and behavioral growth
  • Write clear, thorough reports and maintain accurate student documentation
  • Collaborate with the PPT team to develop and monitor student plans
  • Provide direct interventions to support student success in classroom and school settings
  • Contribute to meetings, consultations, and initiatives to foster a positive learning environment
