Take your expertise as a School Psychologist to the next level with an engaging opportunity in a high school environment this upcoming academic year. This contract role is full-time, offering 35 hours per week from late August through May, with the potential to continue through the remainder of the school year.

In this onsite position, you will be working directly with high school students, conducting evaluations, and collaborating on PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting. Play a pivotal role in educational support by offering your knowledge, assessment skills, and care to help a diverse student body reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and current Connecticut School Psychologist licensure and certification required
  • Direct, recent school-based psychology experience preferred
  • Familiarity with evaluation administration and PPT reporting processes
  • Comfortable working onsite with high school-age students
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ready to participate in a Zoom-based interview process

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for high school students
  • Provide written reports and recommendations for PPT meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, school personnel, and families to support student needs
  • Participate in eligibility determination and intervention planning
  • Support a positive educational environment by contributing to mental health and learning assessments
