Key Qualifications:
- Active CT licensure and relevant certification required
- Previous school-based experience essential
- Comfortable working with a high school caseload
- Proficient in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations, interpreting results to support individualized educational planning
- Participate actively in PPT meetings, delivering clear, concise reports and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning plans
- Support students' academic success with targeted interventions and crisis management
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to promote positive school climate and student wellbeing
- Keep thorough records and ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
