School Psychologist | Meriden, Connecticut

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist in the Meriden, CT area, supporting students and school communities onsite. Two full-time positions are available—one existing and one newly created—each offering 35 hours per week within a collaborative school-based setting. The first role is available immediately and extends through May 2027, with the possibility of an extension into the remainder of the school year. The second position is also available to start as soon as possible and will continue through March 30, 2027.

Your expertise in assessment, evaluation, and reporting will directly impact student success, as you conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to Planning and Placement Team (PPT) reporting. You’ll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families, ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut
• Previous experience in a school-based setting required
• Deep understanding of evaluation administration and PPT processes
• Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct assessments and write clear, actionable reports
• Comfortable engaging in interviews and collaboration via Zoom

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychoeducational assessments and compile comprehensive reports
• Effectively communicate findings to educators, administrators, and families
• Participate actively in PPT meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Consult with staff regarding students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Foster an inclusive environment for all students
