Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- State licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Background in providing school-based psychological services for K-12 students
- Knowledge of initial and three-year re-evaluations, including psychoeducational assessments
- Experience with pre-referral strategies and manifestation determination hearings
- Strong communication and consultative skills for collaborating with families, educators, and administrators
- Commitment to ethical guidelines and continuous professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial and three-year re-evaluations for students, using a range of assessment tools
- Consult with educational staff on pre-referral interventions to support student success
- Serve as an expert resource for manifestation determination hearings related to disciplinary incidents
- Support the development and implementation of individualized educational plans and behavioral strategies
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage with staff and families to foster educational progress and address barriers to learning
