Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience serving K-12 student populations preferred
  • Knowledgeable in administering initial and triennial evaluations
  • Skilled in consulting on pre-referral interventions and manifestation determination hearings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a moderate caseload (approx. 63 students)
  • Adaptable communicator, comfortable partnering with school staff, families, and external agencies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for initial and three-year re-evaluations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations based on assessment results
  • Advise staff and parents on pre-referral intervention strategies to support students’ success in the classroom
  • Participate in manifestation determination meetings stemming from disciplinary incidents, offering insight and recommendations
  • Support a positive learning environment by promoting effective behavioral and mental health strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with special education regulations
