Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
  • Strong understanding of MTSS/RTI frameworks
  • Familiarity with IEP process and special education law (IDEA, Section 504)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to cultural competence and diversity awareness

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
  • Interpret data and share findings with educational teams and families
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, helping to develop appropriate educational interventions
  • Provide counseling and consultative services to students and staff
  • Support crisis response and prevention efforts across the school
  • Offer training and psychoeducation to teachers and caregivers as needed
  • Advocate for students’ needs, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate
