Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or license as a school psychologist (or eligibility to obtain in Arizona)
- Experience in conducting assessments, developing interventions, and counseling within school settings
- Solid understanding of child development, learning differences, and behavioral interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed, all in person
- Participate in student study teams, staff meetings, and professional development
