Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or certification (or eligibility)
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings preferred
- Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills for interacting with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to identify developmental, emotional, and learning needs
- Participate and contribute to IEP meetings, providing recommendations and actionable strategies
- Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students, individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to cultivate a nurturing and inclusive school atmosphere
- Provide crisis intervention and develop behavioral support plans as needed
