Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience with school-age children in educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and behavior management
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaborative problem-solving skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Provide individual and group counseling to support social-emotional development
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals regarding interventions and strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Assist in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans
- Advocate for student well-being and access to necessary services
