Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ academic and emotional growth as a School Psychologist in the vibrant New Orleans area. This full-time, onsite position begins August 3, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, aligning with the school year calendar. You'll work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday (7 hours a day plus a 30-minute lunch break), ensuring you have a balanced schedule to make the most impact on your assigned schools.

The specific schools and caseload will be determined closer to your start date, offering meaningful variety and professional challenge throughout your assignment.
Key Requirements:
• Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification (DOE Cert) required
• Experience in school-based psychological services strongly preferred
• Commitment to onsite work only (virtual/VOCO applicants do not apply)
• Successful completion of district drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to regular credentialing steps
• Excellent communication, assessment, and consultation skills
• Ability to thrive independently and as part of a multidisciplinary support team
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive student psychological evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized education intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support student needs
• Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential records
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
