Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Master’s program in School Psychology
  • Current state license to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessments, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and data-driven interventions
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services, including student evaluations, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Work closely with faculty and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions that support students’ learning and social/emotional wellbeing
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility assessment processes, and contribute to individualized education planning
  • Serve as a resource for school staff on behavioral management strategies and psychological issues that may impact classroom dynamics
  • Maintain confidential student records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
