Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active NCDPI School Psychologist license (must be submitted with your application)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ECATS
  • Prior experience in PreK-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong skills in psychoeducational evaluation, counseling, and consultation
  • Adept at working with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with families and educational staff
  • Ability to provide training to staff and participate in crisis response efforts

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and help determine eligibility for special education services
  • Address mental health needs through individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and preventative strategies
  • Serve as a vital consultant to teachers, administrators, and families
  • Hold parent conferences to discuss student progress and concerns
  • Deliver staff trainings on relevant psychological and educational topics
  • Play an active role in multi-disciplinary district- and school-based teams
  • Support a dynamic caseload spanning PreK-12 students across various campuses (mileage not reimbursed)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
