In this role, you'll provide essential psychological services in an elementary setting, supporting a student population of approximately 500–600, including those in emotional and autistic support classrooms. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Strong background in conducting educational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Comfort working with students in emotional and autistic support programs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to support student success
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families as part of an MTSS team
- Assist with the development of interventions and support plans tailored to individual student needs
- Provide crisis assessment and support as needed within the elementary population
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and service planning
- Maintain accurate, detailed records, and comply with all legal and ethical requirements
