Exciting opportunities await experienced School Psychologists seeking a dynamic contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year! This on-site position serves K-12 students across multiple school sites in Monroe County, Michigan. Three positions are available, each offering a fulfilling and engaging environment to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives. The school psychologist will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, collaborating to assess, plan, and provide direct services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students in grades K–12
  • Participating in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and monitor intervention strategies
  • Supporting district initiatives around social-emotional learning and positive behavioral support
  • Offering consultation, crisis intervention, and short-term counseling as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal requirements

Preferred qualifications and skills:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required at the MI credential portal)
  • Previous experience in a school-based psychology role, especially working with diverse populations in elementary through high school settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and parents
  • Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative educational setting
