School Psychologist - Milan, Michigan

As a valued member of the support staff, you will:

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold a valid Michigan School Psychologist license (required; verification will be necessary)
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in educational environments, particularly with K-12 students, is preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to different school settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality

Responsibilities in This Role:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students in general and special education
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and evaluate academic and behavioral interventions
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert guidance on students’ needs
• Deliver short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Assist in developing initiatives for mental health awareness and prevention
• Support schools at Jefferson, Monroe Public, and Airport, with student needs spanning from kindergarten through twelfth grade
