Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience or interest in providing psychological services to PreK-aged children
- Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies tailored to early childhood
- Strong communication abilities to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
- Dedication to supporting inclusion and promoting social, emotional, and academic well-being
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for PreK students
- Interpret evaluation results and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, consultation, and support for students, teachers, and families
- Implement evidence-based interventions and collaborate on behavior management plans
- Engage in team meetings to help shape learning strategies and accommodations
- Maintain confidential records and adhere to all professional and ethical standards
