Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist certification for Delaware (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling services in a school setting
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and functional behavior assessments (FBA)
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work onsite as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social concerns
- Participate in Child Study Teams and contribute to the development of IEPs, 504 plans, and behavioral interventions
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive student outcomes
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and professional standards
