This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideal for a School Psychologist ready to make a difference within a vibrant PreK educational setting. Providing expertise in assessment, counseling, and intervention, you will partner with educators and families to promote optimal learning, social, and emotional growth.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for state certification
- Experience working with PreK students, including early childhood assessments and interventions
- Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP process, and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide direct and consultative services in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for PreK students
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct counseling and intervention services for students with academic, social, emotional, or behavioral needs
- Engage in crisis intervention and behavior support planning
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all policies and regulatory guidelines
- Support a positive, inclusive, and responsive school climate
