This contract position offers the chance to work with students across a wide age range, from Pre-K to high school, supporting their academic, emotional, and behavioral development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification and state licensure.
- Experience providing psychological services within early childhood, elementary, middle, and/or high school settings.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and recommending data-driven strategies.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, administrators, and families.
- Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for diverse student populations.
- Ability to tailor services to the unique needs of each developmental stage, from Pre-K through high school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify student strengths and needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, social, and behavioral concerns.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in creating student-centered IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to interpret assessment data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Offer counseling and guidance services to students, helping them navigate personal and school-related challenges.
- Engage families in the intervention process and serve as a resource for student advocacy and support within the school community.
